📖👏 Shout out to Mrs. Schroer and her amazing students! Monday, we welcomed Ms. Victoria Pham, a representative from the New Teacher Project (TNTP), to observe the incredible literacy work happening in our building through the Comprehensive Literacy State Development (CLSD) grant. Students rotated through ELA stations—reading, tackling tasks, and practicing characterization, inferencing, and dialogue—all while demonstrating self-direction, collaboration, and engagement. 🌟
We’re so proud of our students, staff, and the literacy growth taking place every day! 💡

🏋️♂️ Body Conditioning Course Update – 6th Hour 🏋️♀️
We caught 6th hour working hard in Coach Thompson’s Body Conditioning class yesterday 💪🔥 — but it’s not just them! All of his 4th, 5th, and 6th hour classes have been fully engaged in gathering and tracking their individual data. During this first training cycle, students combined 🏋️ resistance, ⚡ agility, 🏃 speed, and 🤸 plyometric training. To measure progress, they used a new vertical jump mat and tracked results in an Excel spreadsheet to monitor growth over time. 📊💻
👏 Highlight of the cycle: Easton Caldwell hit the highest vertical overall at 31.7 inches and proudly shared his data increase! 🎉
Big shoutout to Coach Thompson and all of his students for working hard, staying accountable, and using data to fuel their progress as they head into the next training cycle focused on 💪 strength development!
